Venom German Assault 1986

German Assault
German Assault is a Venom EP released in 1986 on Roadrunner Records. It arrived between two of the band's studio albums, Possessed in 1985 and Calm Before the Storm in 1987, so it belongs to the stretch when the Newcastle band, already several records into their career, were still releasing material at a steady pace.
Beyond that, the details are slim, and as a short EP it is best treated as a stopgap between full albums. For anyone following the band's run from Welcome to Hell in 1981 through to the later years, it fills in a small piece of the mid-eighties picture.
