At War with Satan is the third album by the British band Venom, released on 16 April 1984 through Combat. It follows Welcome to Hell and Black Metal, and it sits among the records that helped shape black metal, though it also draws on heavy metal, speed metal and the new wave of British heavy metal.

This is Venom going for the big idea. The album is a concept piece telling the story of a war between Heaven and Hell, with Hell winning. It was pitched as the band's crossover into the mainstream, which never happened, and soon after release HMV pulled it from its shelves over its anti-Christian content. Pick it up to hear a band stretching its ambitions and a key step on the way to Possessed, which followed in 1985.
