Hell
Hell is Venom's twelfth studio album, released on 9 June 2008. It arrived on Sanctuary Records and sits in the band's catalogue between Metal Black from 2006 and Fallen Angels from 2011. The record draws on black metal, heavy metal and thrash metal, the blend the band is known for.
The line-up is the main point of interest here. Hell is the first Venom album to feature La Rage on guitar, and it is the last with Antton on drums. He left in 2009 and was replaced by Danté. For anyone following the band's story through its many changes, this is the record that captures a transition between two versions of the group.
