Quadrophenia: Live in London
Quadrophenia: Live in London is a live recording by the Who, capturing their 8 July 2013 show at Wembley Arena in London. It was the closing date of that year's tour, which presented the band's 1973 rock opera Quadrophenia in performance. The set was issued as a double CD, on DVD and Blu-ray, and in a deluxe box set.
It arrived in June 2014, and sits alongside the studio catalogue as a later-career look back at one of the band's most ambitious records, which followed Who's Next and preceded The Who by Numbers. The DVD went straight in at number 1 on the Billboard Music Video Sales Chart, a sign of how keenly the concert film was awaited. For anyone who knows the original album well, this is a chance to hear the whole story played live, from the night the tour wrapped up in the band's home city.
