Who’s Missing
Who's Missing is a compilation of rare and previously unreleased songs by the English rock band the Who, put out by MCA Records on 30 November 1985. It gathers material that had slipped past the band's regular studio albums, making it a handy side door into their catalogue rather than a place to start.
It came out after the group's run of studio records had reached It's Hard in 1982, and it was followed by a second part, Two's Missing, in April 1987. In Japan the CD was reissued on 24 December 2011 as a two-disc set alongside that sequel, with extra tracks from the Japanese bonus disc for Then and Now. Jon Astley remastered it from the original analogue master tapes, which should appeal to anyone who likes digging for the odd corners of the Who's story.
