Live After Death is Iron Maiden's live album, released on 14 October 1985 through EMI in Europe and its sister label Capitol in the US. It was recorded on the World Slavery Tour, which followed Powerslave, with performances at Long Beach Arena in California and the Hammersmith Odeon in London. It arrived a year before Somewhere in Time and captures the band in the middle of their 1980s run.

The concert film draws only on the Long Beach shows. It first came out as a "Video LP" on VHS and Beta with 14 songs, then reached DVD on 4 February 2008, timed with the start of the Somewhere Back in Time World Tour. The DVD adds the second part of The History of Iron Maiden, which documents the making of Powerslave and the tour that followed, so it is a good companion for anyone wanting the story behind the show.
