Album
Coral Fang
Coral Fang is the third studio album by The Distillers, released in October 2003 on Sire Records. It followed their self-titled debut from 2000 and 2002's Sing Sing Death House, and it was the band's first record for a major label. It remains their most recent album.
Sitting between punk rock and a broader alternative rock sound, it's the record where the band stepped onto a bigger stage. It reached number 97 in the US and number 46 in the UK. If you've only heard the earlier, rawer records, this is the one that shows how The Distillers sounded with major label backing, and it makes a fitting place to catch up with the band's story.
