Ember to Inferno is the debut studio album from American band Trivium, released in October 2003 on Lifeforce Records. Jason Suecof produced it alongside the band themselves, so Trivium had a hand in shaping their first full-length record from the very beginning.

The music draws on heavy metal, metalcore and thrash metal, which makes it a good snapshot of the band at the start of their story. Ascendancy followed in 2005, then The Crusade in 2006, and the discography has kept growing ever since. If you want to hear where Trivium began, before those later records, this is the place to start.
