What the Dead Men Say
What the Dead Men Say is the ninth studio album by the American band Trivium, released on 24 April 2020 through Roadrunner Records. Josh Wilbur produced it, and it sits in the melodic metalcore and heavy metal territory the band has worked in since its early records.
It arrived after The Sin and the Sentence in 2017 and just ahead of In the Court of the Dragon in 2021, so it marks a point in the middle of a busy stretch for the group. For anyone who followed Trivium from Ascendancy and Shogun onwards, it is a good place to catch up with where the band stood in the 2020s, with its metalcore roots and heavy metal leanings sharing the same record.
