Album
Vengeance Falls
Vengeance Falls is the sixth studio album by American band Trivium, released on 10 October 2013 through Roadrunner Records. It sits between In Waves and Silence in the Snow, and it was produced by David Draiman, the lead vocalist of Disturbed. That's an interesting pairing, given that Trivium's melodic metalcore and thrash leanings come from a rather different corner of heavy music.
It also marks the second and final appearance of drummer Nick Augusto, who left the band in May 2014. For anyone tracing Trivium's story through the 2000s and into the 2010s, it's a useful snapshot of a line-up in transition, and of a band working with an outside producer who came from another well-known metal act.
