Lamb of God's self-titled record is the Virginia band's eighth studio album, released on 19 June 2020 through Chaos Reigns. It was first planned for May, but the COVID-19 pandemic pushed it back to the date it eventually arrived. It is also the band's thrash-leaning heavy metal at full tilt, with Josh Wilbur producing once more, as he had done since Sacrament in 2006.

The record matters in the band's story for two reasons. It is their first collection of all-new material since VII: Sturm und Drang in 2015, their longest gap between albums, and it introduces Art Cruz on drums after founding drummer Chris Adler left in July 2019. If you want to hear how the group sounded with a fresh member behind the kit, start here. A three-disc deluxe edition followed in March 2021, adding a live stream performance of the whole album.
