Album
VII: Sturm und Drang
VII: Sturm und Drang is the seventh studio album from Virginia's Lamb of God, released on 24 July 2015. The numbering in the title skips the record the group made under the name Burn the Priest, when the line-up was slightly different. Nuclear Blast handled the release outside North America, while Epic Records put it out there. The music sits in the groove and thrash metal territory the band had been working for years.
It follows Resolution from 2012 and comes before the self-titled album of 2020. That makes it a useful marker in the band's story, as it is the last album of new material to feature drummer Chris Adler, who left in 2019. If you want to hear that version of Lamb of God one final time, this is the record to reach for.
