Album
UNATØNED
UNATØNED is the eleventh studio album by the American heavy metal band Machine Head, released on 25 April 2025 through Nuclear Blast and Imperium Recordings. It draws on metal, alternative metal and groove metal, the mix that has marked the band's records since Burn My Eyes arrived in 1994.
It follows Of Kingdom and Crown from 2022 and is the first Machine Head album to feature Reece Scruggs on guitar, so it marks a change in the band's line-up. At 41 minutes, it is also the shortest record they have made, which makes it a tighter listen than much of their back catalogue. Fans who have followed the band from The Blackening onwards should find it a worthwhile next step.
