Album
Titans of Creation
Titans of Creation is the thirteenth studio album from American thrash metal band Testament, released on 3 April 2020 through Nuclear Blast. It follows Brotherhood of the Snake from 2016 and sits between that record and 2025's Para Bellum in the band's long run of studio albums, which stretches back to The Legacy in 1987.
The record is notable for its stability. It was the first time since The Ritual in 1992 that Testament had made more than one album with the same line-up, and it turned out to be the last with drummer Gene Hoglan, who left for the second time in January 2022. Juan Urteaga, who had worked on Dark Roots of Earth and Brotherhood of the Snake, co-produced it, so this is a settled, familiar team working together in the thrash style the band built its name on.
