The Best of Poison: 20 Years of Rock
The Best of Poison: 20 Years of Rock is a compilation from the American glam metal band, released by Capitol Records on 3 April 2006. It was put together to mark the band's 20th anniversary, a milestone that takes in their run from the 1986 debut, Look What the Cat Dragged In, through to the more recent albums Crack a Smile... and More! and Hollyweird.
For anyone coming to Poison for the first time, or wanting a tidy overview without digging through seven studio records, it makes a handy starting point. It also found a large audience, selling more than a million copies in the US by September 2009. Poison'd!, a covers record, followed in 2007, so this set sits neatly between the band's studio chapters.
