Poison’s Greatest Hits 1986–1996
Poison's Greatest Hits 1986–1996 is the glam metal band's first career-spanning compilation, released in November 1996 on Capitol Records. It was put together to mark their tenth anniversary, and it gathers 16 tracks in a single disc.
The selection draws on the band's first four studio albums, Look What the Cat Dragged In, Open Up and Say… Ahh!, Flesh & Blood and Native Tongue, along with the live double album Swallow This Live. That makes it a handy one-stop overview of their first decade, from the debut through to the mid-1990s. If you want the hard-rock and glam sides of Poison without tracking down each record, this is a tidy place to start.
