[Rammstein]
Rammstein's untitled seventh studio album, listed as Rammstein on digital platforms and CD-Text devices and often written [Rammstein] elsewhere, came out on 17 May 2019. It arrived ten years after Liebe ist für alle da, and it marked a change behind the desk: Jacob Hellner stepped aside, and Olsen Involtini, the band's live sound engineer and a guitarist with Emigrate, took over production.
The band's Neue Deutsche Härte sound stays firmly in place, with industrial metal weight and alternative metal leanings. "Deutschland", "Radio" and "Ausländer" were the singles, and "Deutschland" became their second German number one while the other two reached the top five. The record topped the charts in more than ten countries, set a 21st-century first-week sales record in Germany, and was the country's best-seller of 2019. It also earned Diamond certification there. It's the album to hear if you want to know what Rammstein sounded like after their long break.
