Paris
Rammstein: Paris is the German band's fourth concert film and third live album, released on 19 May 2017 through Spinefarm Records. It captures the shows of 6 and 7 March 2012 in Paris, where each night drew 17,000 people and every performance was filmed in full by 30 cameras. Footage from tour rehearsals was cut in alongside the concert material.
It sits well after the band's studio run from Herzeleid in 1995 to Liebe ist für alle da in 2009, and arrived two years before their next studio record. The film was directed by Jonas Åkerlund and had screenings at Cannes and in Cologne and Berlin before its official world premiere at Berlin's Volksbühne on 16 March 2017, with the whole band in attendance. For anyone who loves the industrial thump of Neue Deutsche Härte, it is a close look at the band working a big room.
