Stop Us If You’ve Heard This One Before, Vol. 1
Stop Us If You've Heard This One Before, Vol. 1 is the seventh studio album from British rock band The Wildhearts and their first collection of cover versions. It came out in May 2008 on Round Records, and it was recorded at Madhouse Studios with producer Jase Edwards.
It arrived as a digital download before getting a physical release in July, and it found its audience: it reached number 48 on the UK Album Downloads Chart, number 16 on the UK Independent Albums Chart and number 20 on the UK Rock & Metal Albums Chart. It sits between their self-titled 2007 record and ¡Chutzpah! in 2009, a side-step from original songwriting that lets fans hear how the band handle other people's songs.
