Coupled With
Coupled With is a compilation from The Wildhearts, released on 29 March 2004 on Gut Records. It gathers almost all the B-sides from the singles the band put out during their comeback between 2001 and 2003, spread across various CD and vinyl formats.
It sits just after The Wildhearts Must Be Destroyed, the 2003 studio album that housed the A-sides of most of those singles. The one exception is "Stormy in the North, Karma in the South", which was recorded as a standalone A-side and has no place on that record. For anyone who followed the reunion as it happened, this pulls together the extra tracks that were otherwise scattered across different single formats. Only the instrumental version of "Dancin'", from the 7" single for "So Into You", is left off.
