Dressed to Kill
Dressed to Kill is the third studio album by American hard rock band Kiss, released on 19 March 1975 through Casablanca Records. It arrived after their self-titled debut and Hotter Than Hell, both from 1974, and just ahead of Destroyer in 1976, so it sits right in the early run of records that built the band's reputation.
The album was produced by Casablanca president Neil Bogart together with the band themselves, since the label's finances at the time couldn't stretch to a professional producer. It also holds the distinction of being the shortest Kiss studio album, running to just over thirty minutes. That brevity suits it well: it's a compact, no-frills slice of the band's hard rock and glam-tinged sound, and a good place to hear Kiss while they were still finding their feet.
