The Very Best of KISS

Released27 August 2002
Popularity47.6

The Very Best of KISS is a compilation from the American rock band, released by Mercury Records on 27 August 2002. It gathers 21 of their most popular tracks, all of them previously released and presented in their original versions rather than remixed or re-recorded.

It arrives well into a career that began with their self-titled debut in 1974 and ran through to Monster in 2012, so there is plenty of ground to cover. For anyone who wants the hard rock side of the band in one sitting, without picking through twenty studio albums, it makes a handy starting point before heading off to the full records.
