Past Lives
Past Lives is a two-disc live set from Black Sabbath, released on 20 August 2002 by Divine Recordings. It gathers concert material that had mostly circulated outside the band's official catalogue, which makes it a useful stop for anyone tracing the group's early live sound.
The first disc was previously known as Live at Last, an album that Sabbath's own record company never put out, so it had never counted as an official Black Sabbath release. The second disc collects recordings made for television and radio, which until then had only been available on bootlegs. It first appeared as a digipak and was later reissued in a standard jewel case. In the United States it reached number 114 on the Billboard 200.
