Live… Gathered in Their Masses
Live… Gathered in Their Masses is a concert album and film from Black Sabbath, taken from their 2013 world tour. It was recorded at Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne, Australia, on 29 April and 1 May 2013. The title comes from the opening line of "War Pigs". It was released on 26 November 2013 as a CD, DVD, Blu-ray and deluxe box set.
It arrived in the same year as 13, the band's first studio album since 1995's Forbidden, so it catches Sabbath back on the road with fresh material in the picture. For anyone who knows the early records, it is a chance to hear that long catalogue played live in front of a big arena crowd.
