In the Minds of Evil
In the Minds of Evil is the eleventh studio album by the American death metal band Deicide, released on 25 November 2013 through Century Media. It followed To Hell With God from 2011 and came five years before Overtures of Blasphemy.
The record marked a change in the band's line-up, as it was the first to feature guitarist Kevin Quirion and the last with Jack Owen. It also marked a change in sound. Deicide stepped back from the melodic leanings of their previous few albums and returned to an old-school death metal approach, one that recalls the feel of their 1992 record Legion. For listeners who prefer Deicide at their rawest and most direct, it is a good place to catch up with the band's later work.
