Till Death Do Us Part
Till Death Do Us Part is the ninth studio album by American death metal band Deicide, released in April 2008 on Earache Records. It was the third and last record they made for the label, following Scars of the Crucifix and The Stench of Redemption, and it came before To Hell With God in 2011. Drummer Steve Asheim produced it, with recording done at Morrisound Studios in Tampa between October and December 2007.
At 42 minutes, it is the longest album in their catalogue, and it brings some doom metal influence into the band's usual brutality. The cover uses a section of Hans Baldung's painting Woman and Death, from the early 1520s. First copies came with a sew-on patch showing vocalist Glen Benton and the slogan "Glen Benton for President", and limited vinyl pressings appeared in several colours, which makes it a fun one for collectors.
