A Place Where There's No More Pain

A Place Where There's No More Pain is the fifth studio album by American alternative metal band Life of Agony, released on 28 April 2017 through Napalm Records. It was their first studio record since Broken Valley in 2005, ending a gap of twelve years, and it arrived four years before nothing else in the list of albums, so it sits as the bridge between their 1990s work and the later The Sound of Scars.

It carries some weight in the band's story. It is the last record with drummer Sal Abruscato, who left for a second time that December, and the first since singer Keith Caputo publicly came out as transgender, then identifying as Mina. For fans who have followed the band since River Runs Red, it is a return worth hearing.
