The Sound of Scars

The Sound of Scars is the sixth studio album from Life of Agony, the American alternative metal band. It came out on 11 October 2019 through Napalm Records, and it is the first record to feature drummer Veronica Bellino.

It follows A Place Where There's No More Pain from 2017 and looks back to the band's beginnings. This is a concept album about trauma, recovery and healing, and it works as a sequel to the story told on their debut, River Runs Red from 1993. That link makes it a natural listen for anyone who grew up with that first record and wants to hear where the narrative goes next, more than twenty-five years on.
