Order in Decline
Order in Decline is the seventh studio album by Canadian band Sum 41, released on 19 July 2019 through Hopeless Records. It follows 13 Voices from 2016 and sits just ahead of Heaven :x: Hell in 2024, so it marks the middle of the band's later chapter. It also turned out to be their last record for Hopeless, as they moved to Rise Records in 2023.
The album arrived with four singles released over the weeks leading up to it: "Out for Blood" in April, "A Death in the Family" and "Never There" in June, and "45 (A Matter of Time)" in July. If you want to hear how a pop punk band from the early 2000s sounds well into its third decade, that run of tracks is a good place to begin before taking in the whole record.
