All Killer No Filler
All Killer No Filler is the debut studio album from Canadian band Sum 41, released on 8 May 2001 on Island. It opens the story of a group who would go on to make seven more studio albums, from Does This Look Infected? in 2002 through to Heaven :x: Hell in 2024.
The record sits squarely in pop punk and punk rock, with a bit of pop rock gloss. Reviews were mixed, but listeners took to it: it reached No. 13 on the Billboard 200 and went platinum in the United States, Canada and the UK. "Fat Lip" was the breakout single, climbing to No. 1 on the Billboard Alternative Airplay chart. If you want to hear where Sum 41 began, and the sound that put them on the radio, this is the place to start.
