Acoustica
Acoustica is a live album by the German hard rock band Scorpions, recorded in an unplugged setting and released on 14 May 2001. It came out on RCA in the UK and Europe, with East West Records also issuing it.
It arrived after Moment of Glory, the band's 2000 studio album, and before Unbreakable in 2004, so it sits in a stretch where the group stepped back from the usual wall of amplifiers. For listeners who know Scorpions mainly as an arena rock act, it offers a chance to hear their songs in a quieter, stripped-back form. It suits anyone curious about how a loud band's material holds up when the volume drops.
