Sting in the Tail
Sting in the Tail is the seventeenth studio album by the German hard rock band Scorpions, released in March 2010 on Columbia SevenOne Music. It followed Humanity: Hour I from 2007, and Humanity: Hour II was once a tentative title before being dropped. The band described the sound as a nod to their classic 1980s records with a modern twist, which makes it a natural pick for anyone who loves the Blackout and Love at First Sting era.
At the time it was meant as a farewell album, ahead of what was billed as their final tour, the Get Your Sting and Blackout World Tour. That plan did not hold, and Klaus Meine and Matthias Jabs later said the band would keep touring and were working on new material. Look out for "The Good Die Young", a duet with Finnish singer Tarja Turunen, formerly of Nightwish. The album reached No. 2 in Germany and No. 1 in Greece.
