A Boy Named Goo is the fifth studio album by the American rock band Goo Goo Dolls, released in 1995. It followed Superstar Car Wash from 1993 and came out through Warner Bros. and Metal Blade Records. Its sound sits across alternative rock, post-grunge, power pop and pop rock, and it found a wide audience, going double-platinum in the United States within a year.

It also marks a turning point in the band's story. This is the last Goo Goo Dolls record to feature George Tutuska on drums, as Mike Malinin took his place just before release. If you want to hear the band on the way up, before the arrival of Dizzy Up the Girl in 1998, this is the record to start with.
