Chaos in Bloom

Chaos in Bloom is the Goo Goo Dolls' thirteenth studio album, released on 12 August 2022 through Warner Records. It sits in the alternative rock tradition the American band has worked in since their self-titled debut in 1987, and it arrived three years after Miracle Pill in 2019 and the seasonal It's Christmas All Over in 2020.

For anyone who came to the band through A Boy Named Goo in 1995 or Dizzy Up the Girl in 1998, it is a chance to hear where they stand more than three decades on from their first record. It's a late-career entry in a catalogue that stretches from the scrappy early albums through to the polished rock of the 2010s, and it suits listeners who have kept up with the band beyond the big radio years.
