"Dizzy" came from Dizzy Up the Girl, the American alternative rockers' sixth studio album from 1998, and was issued as a single in February 1999. It reached number nine on the US Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart that May, and also climbed to number 28 in Canada and number 50 in Australia. Its video starred actress Shannyn Sossamon.
