Long Way Down
Long Way Down is an EP from American rock band Goo Goo Dolls, released on 11 June 1996. It takes its name from the song of the same name, which was the fifth and final single from their 1995 breakthrough album, A Boy Named Goo.
The song reached No. 7 on the US Billboard Mainstream Rock Tracks chart and No. 25 on the Modern Rock Tracks chart, and it also climbed to No. 49 on the Radio & Records CHR/Pop chart. It featured on the soundtrack to the 1996 film Twister, and the band played it on an episode of Beverly Hills, 90210 that May. For anyone tracing the band's rise between A Boy Named Goo and Dizzy Up the Girl, it is a handy snapshot of that moment.
