Dying for the World is the tenth studio album by the American heavy metal band W.A.S.P., released in June 2002. It follows Unholy Terror from 2001 and comes before The Neon God diptych in 2004. It sits among the band's darkest records, and Blackie Lawless dedicated it to those who died in the 9/11 attacks.

That shows most clearly on "Hallowed Ground". The record was also written and recorded in under a year, which is quick work for Lawless, a perfectionist who would normally spend two years or more getting an album finished. For anyone who knows W.A.S.P. mainly through their 1980s output, it's a sombre, heavy-hitting chapter from the band's later years, and well worth hearing.
