The Sting: Live at the Key Club, L.A.
The Sting: Live at the Key Club, L.A. is a live album by the American heavy metal band W.A.S.P., released on 28 November 2000 through Madfish. It first appeared as a DVD and CD set, and the CD can also be had on its own.
The show was recorded as a live webcast during the Helldorado World Tour, which followed the band's 1999 studio album Helldorado. It is also the first live footage of W.A.S.P. to feature Blackie's signature microphone stand, which band and fans alike call "Elvis". For anyone who likes to see the stage set-up as well as hear the songs, that makes the DVD a notable piece of the band's visual history. Blackie is reported to be unhappy with how the discs were produced, feeling the sound falls short, so it is best approached as a document of the tour rather than a polished studio-grade recording.
