Songs From the Underground
Songs From the Underground is a compilation EP from Linkin Park, released on 28 November 2008 through Warner Bros. Records. It was the American band's first compilation, arriving after the albums Hybrid Theory, Meteora and Minutes to Midnight, and before A Thousand Suns in 2010.
It sits in the band's alternative rock, rap rock and alternative metal territory, so it makes a handy side door into their world. For listeners who know the big studio albums, it offers a different angle on the group's story between the third and fourth records.
