EP
Underground 4.0
Underground 4.0 is an EP from Linkin Park, released on 22 November 2004 through Machine Shop Recordings. It belongs to the Linkin Park Underground series, the official fan club's yearly run of EPs, which gathered rare tracks, demos, live recordings and remixes and carried on until 2017.
It came out between Meteora in 2003 and Minutes to Midnight in 2007, when the band were at their commercial height after two chart-topping albums. For fans, the appeal lies in the glimpse behind the polished studio records, with material that sat outside the main albums. The listing tags it as rock, alternative rock, nu metal and blues, which hints at the range on offer.
