LP Underground 7
LP Underground 7 is a live EP from Linkin Park, released on 5 December 2007 on Machine Shop Recordings. It belongs to the LP Underground series, the fan club releases that gathered rare tracks, demos, live recordings and remixes for members of Linkin Park Underground, the band's official fan club, year after year until 2017.
It arrived in the same year as Minutes to Midnight, the band's third studio album, which went straight to number one on the Billboard 200. For listeners who followed the group from Hybrid Theory and Meteora onwards, it offers a live snapshot from that period, with Chester Bennington on lead vocals and Mike Shinoda alongside him.
