Album
From Zero
From Zero is Linkin Park's eighth studio album, released on 15 November 2024 through Warner Records and Machine Shop. It is their first full record since One More Light in 2017, and the first made after Chester Bennington's death that same year. Emily Armstrong takes over vocals and Colin Brittain joins on drums, following Rob Bourdon's departure. The title nods both to the band's original name, Xero, and to the fresh start.
Musically, it heads back towards nu metal, alternative metal and rap rock, while keeping some of the experimental touches from their later albums. Four singles led the way: "The Emptiness Machine", "Heavy Is the Crown", "Over Each Other" and "Two Faced". The album topped the charts in more than ten countries, was named album of the year by Revolver, and earned a Grammy nomination for Best Rock Album. A deluxe edition followed in May 2025.
