Album
Invincible Shield
Invincible Shield is the nineteenth studio album by Judas Priest, the English heavy metal band. It came out on 6 March 2024, arriving first in Japan through Sony, with a worldwide release following two days later on Columbia and Epic.
Andy Sneap, the band's touring guitarist, produced it, as he did for its predecessor Firepower in 2018. Tom Allom, who co-produced the closing pair, "Sons of Thunder" and "Giants in the Sky", adds a further link to the band's story. It went in at number two on the UK Albums Chart, the highest placing in their catalogue so far, and reached number 18 on the Billboard 200 while topping the US Top Hard Rock Albums chart. For fans of traditional heavy metal, it's a confident follow-up to Firepower.
