Single Cuts
Single Cuts is a limited edition box set from Judas Priest, released in October 2011. It gathers 20 of the band's singles, each on its own CD, and keeps every original B-side, which brings the total to 51 tracks. It was announced in June 2011 with a late August date, but the release slipped to mid-October for technical reasons. Anyone who had pre-ordered received free magnets as a thank-you for the wait.
For listeners, it is a tidy way to hear the band's singles as they first appeared, flip sides included, rather than as part of a standard best-of. It sits alongside their studio run as a collector's item, one for fans who enjoy the singles format and want the B-sides in one place.
