A Twisted Christmas

Popularity46.2

A Twisted Christmas is the seventh studio album by American heavy metal band Twisted Sister, released on 17 October 2006 through Demolition Records. It arrived two years after Still Hungry, and it takes a left turn from the band's earlier run of records by giving familiar Christmas songs a heavy metal and glam metal makeover, often with reworked lyrics.

The standout is "Oh Come All Ye Faithful", the carol that heavily inspired the band's own hit "We're Not Gonna Take It". Here they play it in a style exactly like that song, closing the circle neatly. It has become one of their best-known tracks since their 1980s heyday, helped by a comic video in which the band gatecrash a holiday gathering in a bickering couple's home. It's a playful seasonal curiosity for anyone who loved their big-chorus style.
