Love Is for Suckers
Love Is for Suckers is the fifth studio album by American heavy metal band Twisted Sister, released in July 1987 on Atlantic. It follows Under the Blade, You Can't Stop Rock 'n' Roll, Stay Hungry and Come Out and Play, and it closed the band's first chapter: nothing new came from them in the studio until Still Hungry in 2004, after a breakup and a reunion.
For anyone tracing the band's story, it matters as the last record made up entirely of fresh, original songs. It sits in the traditional heavy metal and hard rock mould the group were known for, so it makes a natural final stop if you have worked your way through their 1980s run and want to hear where that era ended.
