Album
Tango in the Night
Tango in the Night is Fleetwood Mac's fourteenth studio album, released on 13 April 1987. It is the last studio record from the line-up most people think of as the classic band: Lindsey Buckingham, Mick Fleetwood, Christine McVie, John McVie and Stevie Nicks. That group would not make another album together until the live set The Dance in 1997, though Christine McVie did guest on 2003's Say You Will.
The record began as a Buckingham solo project, produced with Richard Dashut, before becoming the next Fleetwood Mac album in 1985. It rewards listeners with a run of singles: "Big Love", "Little Lies", "Everywhere" and "Seven Wonders" all reached the US top 20, with "Little Lies" peaking at No. 4. Polished, melodic soft rock with a pop sheen, it has sold over 15 million copies worldwide and was reissued in expanded editions in 2017.
