The Best of Peter Green’s Fleetwood Mac
The Best of Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac is a compilation released on 11 November 2002 by Columbia. It gathers the blues rock band's early work from the Peter Green years, before the group's sound moved in the directions that defined its later records.
The collection stands in for the band's earlier Greatest Hits set, offering digitally remastered versions of the material. The remastering and the cover art both come from the 1999 box set The Complete Blue Horizon Sessions 1967–1969. For anyone who knows Fleetwood Mac mainly through Rumours and what followed, it is a handy way into the band's blues beginnings, with Green's era presented in a tidy single package.
