Fleetwood Mac
Fleetwood Mac formed in London in 1967 as a British blues band, built around guitarists Peter Green, Jeremy Spencer and Danny Kirwan, bassist John McVie and drummer Mick Fleetwood. That line-up reached UK No. 1 in 1968 with the instrumental "Albatross" and added Top 10 hits with "Man of the World", "Oh Well" and "The Green Manalishi (With the Two Prong Crown)".
After Green, Spencer and Kirwan departed, the band moved to the United States in 1974. Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks joined Fleetwood and the McVies, and the self-titled Fleetwood Mac (1975) topped the US Billboard 200. Rumours followed in 1977 and won the Grammy for Album of the Year. Tusk, Mirage and Tango in the Night came next, while Say You Will (2003) closed the studio run. The band have sold more than 120 million records.
