Live at the Borderline 1991 is a concert recording from R.E.M., issued by Craft Recordings in 2019 as a Record Store Day release. It captures a surprise club show from 1991, played under the made-up name Bingo Hand Job, at the time Out of Time was coming out.

It sits among the band's live releases rather than their studio run, which by then stretched from Murmur through Green. What makes it worth hearing is the setting: a small-room gig, billed under a joke name, from the moment the band stood on the edge of their biggest records. Anyone who likes R.E.M. up close and unpolished should find plenty to enjoy here.
